The Cisco C9K-80W-ADPT is an external 80W AC-DC power adapter developed exclusively for Cisco Catalyst C9200CX-12T-2X2G compact enterprise switches. It serves as an alternative primary power supply when 802.3bt PoE power feeding is unavailable or insufficient at deployment sites. This compact external power unit converts universal AC mains power to regulated DC output to maintain continuous switch operation, and can also be deployed as a backup power source to enhance network stability for remote and compact installation scenarios.
