This power unit supports standalone operation or 1+1 redundant power deployment to eliminate single-point power failure risks for aggregation and data center network hardware.

Vacant power bays must be covered with C9K-PWR-C4-BLANK filler panel to maintain chassis airflow, thermal balance and EMC compliance. C9K-PWR-650WAC-R/2 is the matching secondary redundant variant with identical hardware specifications.
