The Cisco C9K-PWR-1500WAC is a hot-swappable Platinum-rated 1500W primary AC-input power supply module engineered exclusively for Cisco Catalyst 9500X Series high-density enterprise switches. It provides stable regulated 12VDC power to operate switching ASICs, management controllers, high-speed interface ports and internal cooling assemblies. This high-capacity power unit can work as a standalone power source or pair with a second identical PSU to implement 1+1 load-sharing redundant power architecture, eliminating single-point power failure risks for data center and core aggregation switching deployments.

Designed for Catalyst 9500X Series fixed-form-factor high-performance switches. Supports flexible mixing configurations: dual AC, dual DC, or one AC plus one DC PSU within the same chassis. Compatible counterpart DC model: C9K-PWR-1500WDC. Vacant power bays must be fitted withPWR-C6-BLANKfiller panels to preserve proper chassis airflow, thermal balance and EMC compliance. This power supply cannot be used on standard Catalyst 9500 non-X platforms or Catalyst 9400 modular chassis. The matching redundant secondary variant is C9K-PWR-1500WAC/2.
