Optimized for standard -48VDC telecom power infrastructure, this field-replaceable unit delivers stable regulated 12VDC power to drive switching ASICs, management controllers, high-density 25G/40G/100G interface modules and internal cooling subsystems. The unit can operate independently as the primary power source or pair with the matching secondary redundant moduleC9K-PWR-1600WDCR/2to establish a 1+1 load-sharing redundant power architecture, eliminating single-point power failure risks for carrier, industrial and data center aggregation switching environments.

Vacant power bays must be covered withC9K-PWR-C4-BLANKfiller panels to maintain chassis airflow, thermal balance and EMC compliance. Mixing power supplies with inconsistent airflow directions within one rack is prohibited.
