Product Overview
The Cisco PWR-C3-750WAC-F is a hot-swappable 750W AC-input primary power supply module designed for Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series fiber-based fixed switches, most notably WS-C3850-48XS. This Config 3 power unit adoptsback-to-front airflow (rear intake, port-side exhaust)architecture. It delivers stable regulated DC power to support switch hardware including forwarding processors, management subsystems, high-density SFP+ fiber interfaces and internal cooling fans. The PSU supports standalone operation or pairing with an identical secondary unit (PWR-C3-750WAC-F/2) to implement 1+1 redundant power mode, eliminating single-point power risks for enterprise access and aggregation networks.

Hardware Compatibility
Optimized for Catalyst 3850 fiber switch models, including WS-C3850-48XS-S and WS-C3850-48XS-E. The chassis supports mixed deployment of AC and DC power supplies physically.
Critical airflow rule: Do not mix back-to-front (F suffix) and front-to-back (R suffix, PWR-C3-750WAC-R) power supplies within one switch chassis or rack.
Vacant power bays must be covered with proper filler panels to maintain airflow, thermal balance and EMC compliance. This power supply cannot be installed on Catalyst 9200, 9300, 9400, 3650 or 3750X platforms. Matching redundant secondary variant:PWR-C3-750WAC-F/2.
