Product Overview
The Cisco PWR-C2-250WAC is a hot-swappable Config 2 250W AC-input power supply module designed for Cisco Catalyst 3650, Catalyst 2960-X and 2960-XR Series enterprise access switches. This field-replaceable unit delivers regulated +12VDC power to support switch processors, management circuits, line interfaces and internal cooling fans. It can operate as a standalone primary power source or be deployed alongside a second identical PSU to build a redundant power configuration, eliminating single-point power failure risks for campus access layer network infrastructure. This model only supplies system power and doesnotprovide PoE power for end devices.

Hardware Compatibility
Compatible with Catalyst 3650 Series, Catalyst 2960-X and Catalyst 2960-XR fixed-form access switches.
Important Limitation: This PSU providesonly system power. It cannot supply PoE, PoE+ or UPOE power. PoE-enabled switch models require higher-rated power supplies such as PWR-C2-640WAC or PWR-C2-1025WAC.
Vacant power bays must be covered with matching filler panels to preserve chassis airflow, thermal balance and EMC compliance. This power supply cannot be used on Catalyst 9200/9300, 3850 or other non-Config 2 switch platforms. Matching secondary redundant variant:PWR-C2-250WAC/2.
