Product Overview
The Cisco PWR-C2-640WAC is a hot-swappable Config 2 640W AC-input primary power supply module designed exclusively for Cisco Catalyst 3650, Catalyst 2960-X and 2960-XR Series enterprise access switches. This field-replaceable unit provides dual regulated power rails, delivering power for switch system hardwareand supporting PoE/PoE+ load. It can operate as a standalone power source or pair with an identical secondary unit (PWR-C2-640WAC/2) to build 1+1 redundant power architecture, eliminating single-point power failures for PoE-enabled campus access networks.

Important Note: Compared with PWR-C2-250WAC (250W non-PoE PSU), this 640W model supplies sufficient budget for PoE+ powered devices including wireless access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones.
Vacant power bays must be covered with matching filler panels to preserve chassis airflow, thermal balance and EMC compliance. This power supply cannot be deployed on Catalyst 9200/9300, Catalyst 3850 or other non-Config 2 switch platforms. Matching redundant secondary variant:PWR-C2-640WAC/2.
