Product Overview
The Cisco PWR-C2-1025WAC is a hot-swappable Config 2 high-capacity 1025W AC-input primary power supply module designed for Cisco Catalyst 3650 and Catalyst 2960-XR Series enterprise access switches. This field-replaceable unit provides dual regulated power rails to power switch hardware and deliver abundant PoE+ power budget for connected end devices. It supports standalone operation or deployment with an identical secondary unit (PWR-C2-1025WAC/2) to build a 1+1 load-sharing redundant power architecture, eliminating single-point power failures for high-density PoE campus access networks. This power supply is mandatory for high-power PoE models such as WS-C2960XR-48FPD-I and WS-C2960XR-48FPS-I.

Hardware Compatibility
Compatible with Catalyst 3650 Series and Catalyst 2960-XR fixed access switches that support high-density PoE+.
Important Limitation: Certain 48-port full PoE+ Catalyst 2960XR models only support PWR-C2-1025WAC and cannot utilize PWR-C2-250WAC or PWR-C2-640WAC.
Vacant power bays must be covered with matching filler panels to preserve chassis airflow, thermal balance and EMC compliance. This power supply cannot be installed on Catalyst 9200/9300, Catalyst 3850 or other non-Config 2 switch platforms. Matching redundant secondary variant:PWR-C2-1025WAC/2.
