1. 950 Watt Continuous Rated Output

   Delivers maximum 950W regulated power capacity on the +12V output rail. Supports N+1 redundant deployment and automatic parallel dynamic load sharing among multiple PSUs, eliminating single-point power failure risks for high-density core edge routing infrastructure. Up to six power supplies can be installed within one ASR1006-X / ASR1009-X chassis.
2. Telecom Negative DC Wide Input Range

   Built for carrier-grade negative DC power infrastructure:

• Input Voltage: -40.5 VDC ~ -72 VDC (nominal -48 VDC / -60 VDC)
• Hardwired terminal block connector for telecom DC power feeds

1. Front-to-Rear Native Chassis Airflow

   Airflow aligns with the integrated thermal design of ASR1006-X and ASR1009-X routers.

   Important Note: AC and DC power supply modulescannot be mixedwithin the same chassis. All installed power supplies must be identical model type. No mixing of different airflow variants.
2. Hot-Swap / OIR Support

   Supports Online Insertion and Removal (OIR). Engineers can replace faulty power modules without shutting down the router, enabling non-disruptive hardware maintenance and minimizing network downtime.
3. LED Status Indicators & IOS-XE Telemetry

   Faceplate bi-color OK/FAIL LEDs display input power status and operational health. The module continuously reports operating voltage, internal temperature, fan speed and fault alarms to the IOS-XE operating system for remote monitoring and alerting.
4. Multi-Layer Hardware Protection

   Integrated reverse polarity protection, overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent protection (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), surge protection and short-circuit protection to safeguard both the power supply and ASR 1000-X router hardware.
5. High-Efficiency Power Conversion

   Optimized power conversion efficiency reduces thermal generation and energy consumption, supporting reliable 24/7 continuous operation for carrier-grade routing platforms.
