   Delivers maximum 550W regulated +12VDC power capacity. Supports 1+1 redundant configuration with automatic dynamic load sharing to eliminate single-point power failure risks.

Note: This PSU applies to low-to-medium power chassis setups. For configurations deployed with high-power A900-RSP3C-400-S modules, higher-capacityA900-PWR1200-Dis recommended.

   Supports both positive +24VDC and telecom negative -48/-60VDC power feeds:

• Terminal block connector (Euro-style 3-position) for hardwired DC power cabling

1. Front-to-Rear Native Chassis Airflow

   Airflow direction matches the original thermal design of ASR902 / ASR903 series chassis.

   Important Note: Mixing power supplies with different wattage ratings is not recommended for stable load sharing within one chassis. AC and DC PSUs can be installed simultaneously, however consistent model selection is preferred.
2. Hot-Swap Support

   Supports Online Insertion and Removal. Technicians can replace faulty power modules without powering down the router, enabling non-disruptive hardware maintenance and minimizing service downtime.
3. LED Status Indicators & IOS-XE Telemetry

   Front-panel dual status LEDs display power input presence and operational health. The module continuously reports operating voltage, internal temperature and fault conditions to IOS-XE for remote monitoring and alarm notifications.
4. Multi-Layer Hardware Protection

   Integrated reverse polarity protection, overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent protection (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), surge protection and short-circuit protection to safeguard the power supply and ASR900-series router hardware.

   High power conversion efficiency reduces thermal load, supporting reliable 24/7 continuous rack operation for carrier-grade edge and aggregation routing platforms.
