Note: This PSU is suitable for low-to-medium power chassis configurations. For deployments equipped with high-power A900-RSP3C-400-S modules, higher-capacityA900-PWR1200-Dis strongly recommended.

1. Wide-Range Multi-standard DC Input
   Compatible with both positive +24VDC and telecom negative -48/-60VDC power feeds:

• Input Voltage: 19.2 VDC ~ 72 VDC
• T-shaped locking DC connector (Enhanced version) for secure hardwired DC power cabling

Distinction: A900-PWR550-D uses Euro-style 3-position terminal block; these two PSU variantscannot be mixedwithin one chassis.

1. Front-to-Rear Native Chassis Airflow

   Airflow direction complies with the original thermal design of ASR902 / ASR903 series chassis.

   Important Note: Do not mix A900-PWR550-D (terminal block) and A900-PWR550-D-E (T-type connector) together. Mixing different DC connector variants will cause compatibility issues. AC and DC power supplies may be co-installed, yet consistent PSU model selection is preferred for stable load sharing.
2. Hot-Swap Support

   Supports Online Insertion and Removal. Technicians can replace faulty power modules without powering down the router, enabling non-disruptive hardware maintenance and minimizing service downtime. No built-in power switch on the module.
3. LED Status Indicators & IOS-XE Telemetry

   Front-panel dual status LEDs monitor power input presence and PSU operational health. The module continuously reports operating voltage, internal temperature and fault conditions to IOS-XE for remote monitoring and alarm notification.
4. Multi-Layer Hardware Protection

   Integrated reverse polarity protection, overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent protection (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), surge protection and short-circuit protection to safeguard the power supply and ASR900-series router hardware.
