Product Overview

Important Note: RPS2300 isnot a UPS. It only protects against internal power supply faults or separate AC circuit failure, and cannot sustain operation during utility mains blackouts. This hardware has reached End-of-Sale (EoS).

Key Features

1. Modular Power Architecture, Max 2300W Total Capacity

   Two hot-swappable PSU slots, supporting either 750W or 1150W AC modules. Installed power modules must be identical wattage. The chassis supports dual DC outputs: +12V for non-PoE devices and -52V for PoE-capable switches powering IP phones and wireless APs. It connects up to six network devices and provides active backup power for a maximum of two devices simultaneously.
2. Universal Wide-Range Global AC Input

   Each power module supports worldwide auto-ranging mains input:

• Input Voltage: 100 VAC ~ 240 VAC
• Operating Frequency: 50 Hz – 60 Hz
• Standard IEC C14 inlet fitted on each individual power supply module

1. Standard 19-inch 1RU Rack-Mount Form Factor

   Equipped with six dedicated RPS output ports. Two types of proprietary Cisco cables are required:CAB-RPS-2300andCAB-RPS-2300-E.

   Important Note: Not compatible with Catalyst 3650/3850/9000 series switches, Meraki MS modern platforms, ISR 4000/8000 series routers and Firepower security appliances. Do not mix cables from older RPS300/RPS675.
2. Hot-Swap Support for Internal Components

   Power supply modules and internal fan unit support online insertion and removal without shutting down the whole RPS chassis. Connected network hardware remains protected during component replacement.
3. Front Panel LED Status & IOS Intelligent Management

   Front-panel LEDs display AC input status, port activity, fan status, temperature and fault alarms. Supported Catalyst switches can configure device priority, monitor power status and send fault alerts via Cisco IOS and SNMP.
4. Multi-Layer Hardware Protection

   Built-in overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent protection (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), surge protection and short-circuit protection to protect the RPS chassis and connected network infrastructure.
5. Dual AC Circuit Resilience Option

   Two installed power modules can connect to independent AC power distribution circuits to improve overall power infrastructure reliability.
