Cisco SFP-H10GB-ACU10M is an original Cisco active 10GBASE-CU SFP+ to SFP+ direct attach twinax copper cable (Active DAC) with a length of 10 meters. It features factory pre-terminated SFP+ connectors with built-in signal conditioning circuits at both ends. Compliant with SFP+ MSA SFF-8461 and IEEE 802.3ae standards. Unlike passive DAC cables limited to a maximum transmission distance of 5 meters, this active twinax cable compensates for copper signal attenuation, enabling reliable long-distance 10-Gigabit point-to-point connections. It acts as a cost-effective, low-latency alternative to optical transceivers and fiber patch cords for extended intra-rack and cross-rack networking in data centers.
