Cisco CAB‑CONSOLE‑RJ45 is an original Cisco rollover console management cable, also known as RJ‑45 to DB‑9 female RS‑232 serial cable. It is designed to establish local CLI management access between Cisco network equipment console port and a computer or terminal with DB‑9 serial COM port, enabling initial device configuration, debugging, firmware upgrade and status monitoring without network connection.
