Cisco CAB‑DVI‑HDMI‑8M is an original Cisco active‑style audio‑video integration cable for TelePresence and video‑conferencing codecs. It transmits DVI‑D digital video signal from codec to HDMI‑equipped displays, projectors and monitors. Equipped with an extra 3.5 mm stereo mini‑jack audio input, it injects separate analog stereo audio into the HDMI output stream, solving the limitation that native DVI interface does not carry audio signal.
