The Cisco Catalyst C9500-16X-2Q-A is a 1RU fixed-form-factor aggregation/core switch from the flagship Catalyst 9500 family, preloaded with Network Advantage perpetual IOS XE license. Built on UADP 3.0 programmable ASIC and x86 multi-core CPU, this hybrid-port switch combines dense 10G SFP+ downlinks with dedicated 40G QSFP+ uplinks, delivering full Layer 3 routing, hardware-accelerated zero-trust security, deep packet buffering and StackWise Virtual virtualization. It is purpose-built for enterprise campus aggregation, medium data center leaf nodes, multi-building backbone aggregation and SD-Access fabric deployments that require mixed 10G access and 40G high-speed uplink convergence.
