Huawei CloudEngine S6720‑32X‑EI is an enhanced high‑density 10GE all‑optical full‑Layer‑3 managed switch of S6720‑EI series, running on Huawei mature VRP (Versatile Routing Platform) operating system. It provides 32×10GE SFP+ multi‑rate optical ports, without independent service expansion slot. This model supports dual hot‑swappable modular power‑supply slots for 1+1 power redundancy, available in AC or DC power variants. PoE function is not supported. Compared with LI‑series models, EI version delivers larger hardware buffer, complete enterprise‑grade service features and enhanced reliability. It can be deployed as aggregation or small‑core device for enterprise campus, high‑density all‑optical network, metropolitan‑network convergence and small‑medium‑size data‑center top‑of‑rack access scenarios.
