Product Overview

Huawei CloudEngine S6730‑H24X6C is a high‑end fixed box‑type switch of S6730‑H series, powered by Huawei VRP operating system. It provides 24×10GE SFP+ multi‑rate optical downlink ports and 6×40/100GE QSFP28 high‑speed uplink ports. QSFP28 ports run at 40GE by default and support rate upgrade to 100GE upon activating RTU (Right‑To‑Use) license. This model is equipped with dual hot‑swappable modular power slots supporting 1+1 redundancy, compatible with AC, ‑48V DC or 240V HVDC power modules (power modules are sold separately). PoE function is not supported. It delivers comprehensive Layer‑2/Layer‑3, MPLS, VXLAN, Segment‑Routing and integrated WLAN AC capability for managing up to 1024 APs, suitable for enterprise campus aggregation, small‑core layer, metropolitan‑network convergence and medium‑size data‑center top‑of‑rack scenarios.

  1. Port and Hardware Configuration
    24×10GE SFP+ multi‑rate optical slots support GE /10GE SFP/SFP+ transceivers, DAC high‑speed cables and AOC active optical cables. 6×QSFP28 ports serve for high‑bandwidth uplink and iStack hardware stacking; default speed is 40GE, 100GE capability is enabled via RTU license. No independent service expansion slot. Dual hot‑swappable modular power‑supply slots support 1+1 redundancy for AC, ‑48V DC or 240V HVDC power modules. Hot‑swappable fan modules adopt front‑to‑back airflow; intelligent variable‑speed fans dynamically adjust rotation speed to balance heat dissipation and acoustic noise. PoE power supply is not supported. Both power and fan modules support hot‑swap without interrupting running services. Equipped with Console port, Mini‑USB console, ETH management port and USB 2.0 port for convenient device maintenance. Standard 19‑inch 1U rack‑mount chassis for cabinet installation.

    Supports 4094 IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, MUX VLAN, Voice VLAN, Guest VLAN, GVRP, basic & flexible QinQ and VLAN mapping. Implements STP/RSTP/MSTP, Smart‑Link, RRPP and ERPS ring‑protection protocols for millisecond‑level link fail‑over recovery. Supports LACP link aggregation, IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3, MLD Snooping, broadcast‑multicast‑unicast storm suppression and port isolation. iStack hardware stacking virtualizes multiple physical switches into one logical device for unified configuration and management.
