Huawei CloudEngine S12700H‑8 is a high‑end chassis‑type core‑aggregation switch of the CloudEngine S12700H series, designed for large‑scale Wi‑Fi 6/7 cloud‑campus networks. It adopts advanced CLOS cell‑switching architecture and Huawei VRP converged software platform. The 13U 19‑inch rack‑mount chassis is equipped with 2 MPU (Main Processing Unit) slots, 2 CMU (Central Monitoring Unit) slots, 6 SFU (Switch Fabric Unit) slots and 8 LPU (Line Processing Unit) service slots. MPUs support 1+1 active‑standby hot‑backup redundancy. All key hardware components including MPU, CMU, SFU, LPU, fan modules and power modules support hot‑swap. It supports CSS2 hardware cluster, SVF2.0 Super Virtual Fabric, built‑in high‑capacity native WLAN AC, full‑feature MPLS, Segment‑Routing, VXLAN‑BGP‑EVPN and network slicing. With carrier‑grade reliability, it acts as core node for large‑size cloud campus, education, government and enterprise networks.
