The 21.8U 19‑inch rack‑mount chassis is equipped with 2 MPU (Main Processing Unit) slots, up to 9 SFU (Switch Fabric Unit) slots and 12 LPU (Line Processing Unit) service slots. MPUs support 1+1 active‑standby hot‑backup redundancy. All key hardware components including MPU, SFU, LPU, fan trays and power modules support hot‑swap.
