Huawei CloudEngine CE5810‑24T4S‑EI Fixed Data‑Center Access Switch
Product Overview
The Huawei CloudEngine CE5810‑24T4S‑EI is a 1‑rack‑unit fixed‑port Layer 2/3 access switch from the CloudEngine 5800 series, running on Huawei VRP‑8 operating system. It provides 24×10/100/1000BASE‑T copper ports plus 4×10GE SFP+ uplink optical ports, optimized for high‑density Gigabit access in cloud data‑center racks. It also serves as access or aggregation device for large enterprise campus networks. It supports iStack stacking up to 16 units, TRILL, SVF vertical virtualization and M‑LAG, enabling flexible building of elastic virtualized fabric networks. Power and fan modules are hot‑swappable and sold separately.
Key Features
-
Port‑rich compact hardware: 1U 19‑inch rack‑mount chassis, 24 wire‑speed GE RJ45 ports and 4×10GE SFP+ uplink slots. Supports iStack stacking via 10GE ports, maximum 16 switches in one stack group. Airflow supports front‑to‑back or back‑to‑front direction for flexible data‑center cabinet deployment. Power and fan modules support hot‑swap and 1+1 redundancy.
-
Complete Layer 2 / Layer 3 protocol suite: IPv4/IPv6 dual‑stack, static routing, RIP, OSPF, VRRP. Rich Layer‑2 features: 802.1Q VLAN, selective QinQ, STP/RSTP/MSTP, VBST, LACP link‑aggregation. Supports TRILL data‑center fabric protocol, SVF vertical virtualization and M‑LAG for device virtualization. Comprehensive multicast functions include IGMP Snooping, PIM‑SM/DM, MSDP for IPTV and video traffic bearing.
-
Multi‑dimensional enterprise‑grade security: Supports 802.1X, MAC‑based authentication, DHCP Snooping, ARP anti‑spoofing, ACL filtering, DoS attack defense, port security, BPDU protection to realize fine‑grained access control and threat prevention.
-
Advanced QoS traffic scheduling: Multi‑field traffic classification, SP/WRR/DRR queue scheduling, traffic policing, shaping and WRED congestion avoidance, guaranteeing service quality for key business and video flows.
-
High‑availability hardware design: Hot‑swappable power and fan modules; supports stack redundancy, link‑level protection mechanisms to reduce service interruption risk.
-
Diversified intelligent O&M: Supports Zero‑Touch Provisioning, OPS open programmable capability. Management access via Console CLI, SSH, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, Syslog, FTP/SFTP. Compatible with Huawei iMaster NCE‑Campus for centralized network deployment and monitoring.
