Cisco Catalyst C9300-48S-A is a non-PoE stackable enterprise Layer 3 fiber aggregation/access switch within the Catalyst 9300 Series, built on UADP 2.0 ASIC architecture and preloaded with perpetual Cisco DNA Network Advantage license. This chassis features high-density 1G SFP fiber downlinks and one hot-swappable modular uplink bay, optimized for long-distance fiber cabling, EMI-sensitive industrial environments, campus distribution layers, and fiber-to-the-workstation deployments.
Equipped with StackWise-480 stacking and StackPower cross-chassis power pooling, the switch delivers full SD-Access fabric readiness, hardware-accelerated security, advanced routing protocols, and complete intent-based automation via Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center). Unlike PoE copper C9300 variants, the C9300-48S-A eliminates power delivery circuits to cut cost and power consumption for pure data fiber switching workloads.
