Full Official English Description – Cisco Catalyst C9300-48S-E
1. Product Overview
Cisco Catalyst C9300-48S-E is a non-PoE stackable enterprise Layer 3 gigabit fiber switch from the Catalyst 9300 Series, equipped with UADP 2.0 switching ASIC and pre-installed perpetual Cisco DNA Network Essentials license. It delivers high-density 1G SFP fiber downlink ports with one modular high-speed uplink bay, designed for inter-building fiber campus distribution, fiber-to-desk access, EMI-sensitive industrial environments, and backbone aggregation scenarios without PoE power demand.
Supported by StackWise-480 stacking and StackPower cross-chassis power pooling, this switch provides foundational enterprise switching, baseline hardware security, basic routing and entry-level DNA automation via Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center). Compared with the -A variant, it omits advanced routing, Encrypted Traffic Analytics (ETA), TrustSec segmentation and SD-Access fabric capabilities to lower upfront deployment cost for simple fiber aggregation networks.
